On May 20 Reprise Records will issue 2, the long-awaited sophomore LP from the recently reunited Mudcrutch. Today, in advance of its official release next Friday NPR Music’s First Listen has made the new album available to stream in its entirety.

Along with Tom Petty on guitar and vocals the reformed pre-The Heartbreakers group also features guitarists Tom Leadon and Mike Campbell keyboardist Benmont Tench and drummer Randall Marsh. Petty, Campbell and Ryan Ulyate produced 2, which features 11 new songs. In support of the new album and follow up their also long-in-the-making 2008 self-titled debut LP, Mudcrutch will soon head out on a full tour starting with shows at Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall at CSUN Northridge in California on May 23 and 24.
