On September 28, 2014, The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles hosted the George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison all-star concert honoring George Harrison. The impressive lineup of musicians gathered to perform songs Harrison wrote with The Beatles and during his post-Beatles career, resulting in a just-released live album and concert film documenting the show.

The tribute was produced by Best Fest with support of The Harrison Estate. George’s son Dhani Harrison was among the many performers that also included Ben Harper, Brian Wilson, Norah Jones, members of The Flaming Lips, Britt Daniel of Spoon, Conan O’Brien, Ann Wilson, Ian Astbury, Heartless Bastards, Perry Farrell, “Weird Al” Yankovic and others. A few of the standout performances included Harper’s “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth),” Dhani Harrison (sounding eerily similar to his late father) and others taking on the Travelin’ Wilburys’ “Handle With Care,” Norah Jones’ tender rendering of “Something” and Brian Wilson’s endearing delivery of “My Sweet Lord.”

Tonight, MTV Live will premiere footage of the George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison concert. The program begings Saturday, Feburary 27 at 9 p.m. ET. Watch an extended trailer followed by a clip of “Handle With Care” from the special:
