The Strokes Bring Out Charli XCX For ‘Is This It’ Cut At Outside Lands

The Strokes headlined San Francisco’s Outside Lands on Saturday. The rockers from New York City welcomed Friday’s headliner Charli XCX for a performance of their song “Take It Or Leave It” at Golden Gate Park.

The festival set for The Strokes got underway with “Ize Of The World” off the band’s 2005 album, First Impressions Of Earth. The band then moved through even older favorites such as “Hard To Explain” and “Someday.”

Charli XCX joined The Strokes for “Take It Or Leave It” about halfway through the set for a duet with frontman Julian Casablancas on the track off the band’s 2001 debut album Is This It.

The Strokes rounded out their set with popular tunes such as “Reptilia,” “Last Nite” and “The Adults Are Talking.” The band returned to encore with First Impressions Of Earth cut “You Only Live Once.”
