Mountain Man will release a new live album, Look At Me Don’t Look At Me next Friday, August 7 via Nonesuch Records. The trio — which consists of Amelia Meath (of Sylvan Esso), Molly Sarlé and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords) — previewed the record by sharing its opening track, “Blue Mountain.”
Look At Me Don’t Look At Me was recorded in November 2018 at Seattle’s Saint Mark’s Cathedral during Mountain Man’s tour in support of Magic Ship. The forthcoming live album features songs from 2018’s Magic Ship as well as tunes from the trio’s 2010 debut record, Made The Harbor. Additionally, Look At Me Don’t Look At Me includes banter, a cover of Fiona Apple’s “Hot Knife” and a take on Sarle’s “Human.”
