The Motet Shares Funky New Single ‘Supernova’

Colorado funk act The Motet has just unveiled their first new original since the release of last year’s Totem LP. “Supernova” shows off Lyle Divinsky’s soulful vocals, the ridiculous rhythm section of drummer Dave Watts and bassist Garrett Sayers and the group’s powerful horns.
The seven-piece unveiled “Supernova” just ahead of their return to the iconic Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado. Divinsky & Co. will headline Red Rocks for the second time on Friday, June 2 featuring support from Jurassic 5 and The California Honeydrops. “Supernova” is available for purchase through iTunes or can be streamed below.
