More Gathering Of The Vibes 2015 Lineup Additions

This year’s installment of Gathering Of The Vibes takes place at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Seaside Park July 30 -August 2. Today, Vibes organizers have announced a number of lineup additions for this year’s festival which celebrates 20 years of gathering together including a one-time-only super jam fronted by Warren Haynes.

Haynes will play two sets including one in which he joins forces with an impressive ensemble of musicians for a super jam aptly titled “Vibes 20th Anniversary Spectacular.” Warren will be joined by Branford Marsalis, George Porter Jr., Joe Russo, Marco Benevento and Jackie Greene for the session. “Over the years, I’ve always enjoyed helping to plant a musical seed, a concept, and then watch it develop onstage into a unique and inspired artistic creation. Something that happens only once by joining musical legends with extraordinary talents can ignite a spark that so rarely is seen,” Vibes founder Ken Hays said. Tea Leaf Green, John Brown’s Body, Cabinet, Trevor Hall, Earphunk, Banooba, Nattali Rize & Notis Band Together and Fly Golden Eagle have also been added to the bill. The new additions join a lineup that already included the likes of Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Billy & The Kids, Gregg Allman, The String Cheese Incident, Wilco and Zappa Plays Zappa.
