moe. offered a trio of concerts in the New York City area over the weekend on their 35th Anniversary Fall Tour. The trek has also seen moe continuing their Rock The Pink initiative in the fight against cancer.

The sit-ins over the weekend were pink in nature. At the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on Saturday the band welcomed opener Tom Hamilton for Bruce Springsteen’s “Pink Cadillac,” while their show at Brooklyn Bowl on Friday boasted guest spots from bassist Karina Rykman on “Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots” and former touring member Suke Cerulo for a moe. classic.

moe.’s show at The Cap on Saturday saw Hamilton sitting in on a cover of Bruce Springsteen‘s “Pink Cadillac” to wrap the first set. The Boss cover marked moe.’s fourth performance of the song since debuting it in 2021, as per Phantasy Tour. Guitarists Al Schnier and Tom Hamilton swapped both verses and riffs during the tune. The night previous, moe. wrapped a two night stand at Brooklyn Bowl. The sit-ins during the concert began with Chuck Garvey’s nephew John Carlo Pecheone joining the band for “Captain America.”

Later in the set, Karina Rykman came out for a cover of The Flaming Lips' “Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.” Guitarist Suke Cerulo, who toured with moe. as Garvey recovered from a stroke, came on to help close the set with a 20-minute excursion on “Meat.” Offical Brooklyn Bowl audio via nugs below:
