Upstate New York jam act moe. concluded a memorable four-night stand at The Sinclair in Cambridge with another standout show on Saturday night. moe. surprised fans by playing a surprise third set on Friday and repeated the feat to end the run.

The quintet kept the focus on originals throughout their three sets on Saturday. moe. opened with “Zed Naught Z” and after segueing into “Same Old Story” and an extended “Bring You Down,” they wound up finishing “Zed Naught Z” in the second set. Saturday’s second set also featured a “Kids” > “Lazarus” sequence with the end of “Kids” coming within the third set. The closing stanza included the end of “Same Old Story” which was started in the first set and reprised in the second set.

Other highlights included a well-jammed “Faker,” the third ever “Angel” and a welcome version of “Buster.” moe. began their encore by handing over their instruments to the members of Aqueous for a band swap. Aqueous had come over from The Paradise, where they had opened for Dopapod earlier in the evening. After a short taste of Aqueous, moe. concluded the show and the run with a cover of “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd.
