Watch moe.’s Al Schnier & Rob Derhak Cover Little Feat’s ‘Willin’’
See Rob and Al on an acoustic rendition of the Little Feat classic.
Penned by late Little Feat frontman and guitarist Lowell George, “Willin’” is one of the band’s most famous songs and first appeared on Little Feat’s 1971 self-titled debut. The group re-recorded it and also included it on their 1972 album, Sailin’ Shoes, and a live version appears on the beloved band’s landmark 1978 live album, Waiting For Columbus.
“Willin’” has been in the moe. repertoire since the late 1990s. Although it is something of a rarity, the band has performed it recently. The road anthem is a fitting song for Rob and Al as they are in the midst of their moe.stly Acoustic Tour.
