Mike Gordon Shares ‘Up & Down’ Single Off Forthcoming Studio Album

Bassist Mike Gordon is gearing up for the release of a new studio album, OGOGO, on September 15 via Megaplum/ATO Records. Today, Mike has unveiled the catchy “Up & Down,” the LP’s seventh track.

Gordon is joined on OGOGO by the other members of his five-piece touring band, guitarist Scott Murawski, drummer John Kimock, keyboardist Robert Walter and percussionist Craig Myers. The bassist selected Shawn Everett to produce OGOGO, which is Mike’s first solo studio album since 2014’s Overstep. OGOGO is currently available for pre-order here.

Mike’s solo band will embark on a fall tour starting at the Georgia Theatre in Athens on September 22. Gordon recently shared live video of a rehearsal for the run:
