Mike Gordon Announces New Studio Album & 2017 Fall Tour

Bassist Mike Gordon will release his new album, OGOGO, on September 15 via Megaplum/ATO Records. Earlier today, Mike unveiled the LP’s first single and now he has shared more details of the long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s Overstep. In addition, Gordon laid out dates for a Fall Tour that spans September 22 – October 14.

Mike Gordon recorded OGOGO with his touring band of guitarist Scott Murawski, drummer John Kimock, keyboardist Robert Walter and percussionist Craig Myers. The LP was produced by Grammy Award-winning engineer Shawn Everett. Pre-order details are coming soon.

Gordon will lead his five-piece band on a Fall Tour that begins at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia on September 22. From there, the quintet will play Charlotte, Raleigh, Richmond, New Haven, Syracuse and Toronto to end September. The October portion of the tour includes stops in Detroit, Kalamazoo, Chincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Omaha, Kansas City and Boulder. A limited number of tickets will be available via a real-time pre-sale beginning tomorrow, July 11 at 10 a.m. ET via Mike Gordon Ticketing. Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, July 14th at 10 a.m. ET.
