Mikaela Davis Expands Summer Tour With August Headline Dates

The harpist and singer-songwriter solidified plans for a busy summer that will include the release of her sophomore studio album.

Harpist Mikaela Davis will hit the road hard this summer in support of her sophomore studio album, And Southern Star, due out on August 4 via Kill Rock Stars. The Rochester, New York-based artist recently added a series of August headline tour dates featuring shows on the West Coast, in the Midwest and in her home state.

Davis launches the run of newly confirmed dates in Seattle on August 5 after previously announced sets at Pickathon the two days prior. Mikaela and her band And Southern Star continue the excursion in California with shows in Redding on August 8 and Fresno on August 9. It’s then off to Phoenix on August 11 and New Mexico for concerts in Truth or Consequences on August 12 and Santa Fe on August 13.

The tour rolls into the Midwest next, where Mikaela Davis And Southern Star will play Minneapolis on August 17, Evanston (Illinois) on August 20 and Cleveland on August 22. Davis ends the excursion in New York with performances in Buffalo on August 23, Kingston on August 24 and Ithaca on August 25. Lined up for the fall so far is an appearance at Camp Deep End in September and an October swing supporting The Mountain Goats.

Tickets for the new dates are on sale now. Mikaela Davis is part of the star-studded Wavy All-Stars ensemble at Ardmore Music Hall's Unlimited Devotion Grateful Dead celebration tonight near Philadelphia.
