Mickey Guyton was among the performers on the first day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention at Chicago’s United Center on Monday. The Grammy-nominated artist offered her song “All American.”
The 2024 Democratic National Convention — where Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to accept the Democratic nomination for president later this week — also saw a performance by Jason Isbell. The six-time Grammy winner delivered the title track to his 2015 album, Something More Than Free.

James Taylor was also slated to perform on Monday. The legendary singer-songwriter was bumped due to time constraints.
