Renowned fiddler Michael Cleveland released the title track to his upcoming album Lovin’ Of The Game. The LP is set to arrive on March 3, 2023 via Compass Records and features guest spots from Béla Fleck, Billy Strings, Charlie Starr and more.

Cleveland previewed Lovin’ Of The Game in October when he released “Sunny Days (Are Comin’ Once Again)” ahead of the official album announcement which arrived earlier this week. The fiddler now follows with album closer “The Lovin’ Of The Game” featuring his longtime band Flamekeeper and inspired by The Johnsons’ cover of the 1975 Judy Collins favorite.

“The song is about prospectors and gamblers,” Cleveland noted, “but for me, the ‘loving of the game’ has always been loving being a part of the musical community and all that being a musician has brought to me.”
