The Meters Announce Special Guests For San Francisco Shows

As reported, famed funk act The Meters will play the Fillmore in San Francisco on August 25 and 26. The band, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, will be joined by keyboardist Ivan Neville, percussionist/vocalist Cyril Neville and the Jazz Mafia Horns.
The original lineup of drummer Zigaboo Modeliste, guitarist Leo Nocentelli, keyboardist Art Neville and bassist George Porter Jr. started 2017 with a pair of performances aboard Jam Cruise, then reunited for sets in their hometown of New Orleans during and at Jazz Fest and at the inaugural Arroyo Seco Weekend in June. 7 Come 11 are aboard as openers at The Fillmore.
