The 2017 installment of Dominican Holidaze will feature performances from several acts including Umphrey’s McGee, STS9 and The Motet. Organizers Cloud 9 Adventures have announced a special free form jazz improv set featuring members of those three bands performing together.
This year’s event takes place at Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa and Now Onyx Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on December 1 – 5. Those heading to the DR can witness an improvised free form jazz set performed by STS9 bassist Alana Rocklin, Umphrey’s McGee drummer Kris Myers and members of The Motet.
Other acts appearing at Dominican Holidaze 2017 will be The Disco Biscuits, GRiZ, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Lotus TAUK, Spafford, SunSquabi, Wolf + Lamb and Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee.
