Foundation Of Funk featuring orignal Meters members George Porter Jr. and Zigaboo Modeliste will welcome special guests JoJo Hermann and Jimmy Herring of Widespread Panic at Republic NOLA on Thursday, May 4. The show is part of the 6th Annual Nolafunk Series During Jazz Fest.
Zigaboo and GPJ continue to perform under the Foundation Of Funk banner with special guests. The show in New Orleans will be the first time members of Widespread Panic have taken part in a Foundation Of Funk performance. Past guests have included Eric Krasno, John Medeski, Eddie Roberts, Tony Hall and Ivan Neville. Look for the foursome to focus on Meters classics.
