MEIKO ANNOUNCES NATIONAL TOUR IN SUPPORT OF THE BRIGHT SIDE
Fresh off a string of high profile appearances and glowing notices for her new electronica-laced folk/pop album The Bright Side (Fantasy/Concord), rising singer-songwriter Meiko has announced her U.S. tour.
Meiko’s tour kicks off July 5 at Milwaukee’s 45th annual Summerfest, opening for headliner Death Cab For Cutie on the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse Stage. Another highlight on the way will be her appearance at the Denver Film Society’s “Film On The Rocks” series at Red Rocks in Denver, CO on August 13. Before hitting the road, fans can hear Meiko live on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic Tuesday, July 3. The performance will stream live online at 11:15am PST here.
