‘Live From Out There’ Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter Celebration Features George Porter Jr., Hiss Golden Messenger & More

Oteil Burbridge, Jennifer Hartswick, Hiss Golden Messenger, George Porter Jr. and Keller Williams are among those contributing to the Live From Out There Celebrating Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter livestream. The installment of the 11E1even Management and nugs.tv series begins at 9:15 p.m. ET/6:15 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 26 via nugs.tv.

Alex Bleeker (Real Estate), Brock Butler (Perpetual Groove), Martin Courtney (Real Estate), John Craigie, Brian Elmquist (The Lone Bellow), Chris Funk (The Decemberists), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Jackie Greene, Chris Chew, Paul Hoffman (Greensky Bluegrass), Ross James, Eric Krasno and Grahame Lesh are also in for the tribute. Julian Lynch (Real Estate), Austin McCutchen (Grateful Shred), Rick Mitarotonda & Peter Anspach (Goose), James Petralli (White Denim), Steve Poltz, Jay Rutherford (Los Colognes), Karina Rykman and Sinkane round out the lineup.

The action starts at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with a Dumplings & The Dead cooking class featuring Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir joining Ross James and celebrity chefs Andrew Zimmern, Matty Matheson and Wylie Dufresne in the kitchen. Then comes Burbridge performing the music of Jerry Garcia on piano for the first time before the all-star tribute. Proceeds go towards the Sweet Relief COVID-19 Musicians Fund, Terrapin Crossroads Staff Appreciation Fund and the Sweetwater Music Hall Staff Relief Fund as well as the musicians and crews contributing to the celebration.
