Little Stranger Maps Out 2024 Fall Tour In Support Of New Album ‘Sat Around Trippin’

Charleston, South Carolina-based duo Little Stranger announced details of new album, Sat Around Trippin, due out on June 28 via Ineffable Records. The pair also confirmed an extensive fall headlining tour to promote the nine-track LP.

Little Stranger — Kevin Shields and John Shields (no relation) — recently previewed Sat Around Trippin by sharing the single “God at a Festival” featuring Andy Frasco and Damn Skippy. The pair previously unveiled “Fly Guy” and “Kama Sutra,” which will also appear on the follow-up to 2022’s Trip Around Saturn.

“‘Sat Around Trippin’ is what happens after you take a ‘Trip Around Saturn’ with the crew. The album finds us doubling down on the strangeness, chaos, and authenticity we hold tight to,” explained Little Stranger. “The album started at a little cabin at the top of a mountain in Bat Cave, NC that we spent the month in with the goal of disappearing a bit and recalibrating our creative minds after months of grinding on the road.”

Little Stranger will follow several upcoming festival appearances and summer dates supporting Stick Figure with their second-ever headline tour. The Sat Around Trippin 2024 Tour starts in St. Louis on September 26 and continues through a show in Jacksonville on October 26. Kevin and John will bring the excursion to Kansas City, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Burlington (Vermont), Richmond (Virginia), Raleigh (North Carolina), Charlotte, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), Nashville and Atlanta along the way.

An Artist Presale begins on Thursday, May 16 at 12 p.m. ET using STRANGER as the password. Tickets then go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17 at 12 p.m. ET.
