Laura Jane Grace and her band The Mississippi Medicals ripped through a five-song, 15-minute set for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. The performance featured a mix of new solo songs and a couple of Against Me! favorites.

Laura Jane Grace, the co-founding Against Me! lead singer/guitarist, was backed by The Mississippi Medicals, which consists of her wife, vocalist Paris Campbell Grace, along with Drive-By Truckers bassist Matt Patton and The Ergs! drummer Mikey Erg.

The blistering performance began with “I’m Not A Cop” from Laura Jane Grace’s 2024 solo album, Hole In My Head. Next came the recently released standalone single, “All Fucked Out.” Pulling from Grace’s 2020 debut solo album, Stay Alive, the set continued with “Supernatural Possession.”

A pair of Against Me! selections capped the Tiny Desk Concert as the band ripped through “Pints Of Guinness Make You Strong” — at the request of NPR’s Lars Gotrich — and finished the performance with “Black Me Out.”
