The Last Waltz Ensemble, a tribute act that “progressively plays the music of Bob Dylan and The Band,” has four special shows scheduled for the weeks ahead.

The band will play a three-night run dubbed as the return of “Dirty Waltz” featuring The Dirty Dozen Brass Band Horns of Kevin Harris and “ET” Efrem Towns. The run begins at Perk Ave in Madison, Georgia on December 18 with a show that will benefit Mama’s Pickin’ Parlor, a school of rock type learning facility in Madison and The Boys and Girls Club of Morgan County. Students of the Parlor will open the show. The children range from 9 years old to 17 and will be performing Americana selections. Patrons are asked to bring a new toy for donation.

“Dirty Waltz” continues at The Surrey Tavern in Augusta, Georgia on December 19 and Charleston’s Pourhouse on December 20. The latter is also ET’s 50th birthday bash and will be opened by Shane Pruitt Band. After that, The Last Waltz Ensemble will play their 11th annual holiday show at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta on December 27. Special guests for the holiday show include southern rocker Charlie Starr Blackberry Smoke, Jon Liebman, Greg Hester, Andrew Black, Eric Dodd, Mark Michelson, Jon Harris, McCayla Cook and members of The Sundogs, Moontower, Shugarfoot, Yacht Rock, The Brantley Gilbert Band and The Dr John Band.
