Tribute act The Last Waltz Ensemble will re-produce The Band’s historic 1976 concert with special guests at The Vista Room in Atlanta on November 25. LWE’s show will feature Jeff Mosier (Blueground Undergrass) and Tommy Talton (Cowboy, Gregg Allman Band) who were also guests at the premiere Last Waltz Ensemble event fourteen years ago.

“I am looking forward to being a part of the latest Kris Gloer re-production of the The Last Waltz tribute. His is one of the highest quality re-enactments of this historic concert. Having been on stage with the real deal Band, I can say that with confidence and respect! Don’t miss it!” said Tommy Talton (Cowboy, Gregg Allman Band) of LWE creator Kris Gloer.

“We’re excited to have Jeff and Tommy as guests,” added Gloer. “Both have deep ties to this music. Classic Levon Helm tracks, ‘Give a Little’ and ‘The Got Song’ were written by Tommy.” Mosier remarked, “Allowing a banjo player to guest with The Last Waltz Ensemble is the ultimate compliment. The Last Waltz Ensemble taps into the Cosmic American, genre-free vibe of The Band. It’s music for people who can hear music.”
