Country singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson was a guest on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Wilson spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about her new album, Whirlwind and performed the record’s single, “4x4xU.”
Fallon began the interview by cataloging some of Wilson’s recent achievements, including winning the Grammy Award for Best Country Album for her 2023 release Bell Bottom Country, becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry and earning several CMA Awards nominations. The interview also touched on Wilson’s early music career, which included impersonating Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana persona. Wilson then coaxed Fallon into participating in her “squat and shot” pre-show ritual.
