Kung Fu Plots Pair Of Benefits & West Coast Tour

Connecticut funk-fusion act Kung Fu have announced their first tour of 2016, a West Coast run set for late January. The band has also revealed details of this year’s Toys For Tots benefits in New Haven.
Kung Fu’s Toys For Tots benefits span two nights at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut – December 18 and 19. On the 18th, the band will perform Curtis Mayfield’s iconic Superfly LP with Alan Evans of Soulive on vocals and rhythm guitar. The Werks will kick off the festivities. Then, on the 19th, Kung Fu will be joined by special guests Break Science.
In late January Kung Fu heads to the West Coast for a series of eight shows in California, Oregon and Washington. The tour begins at The Mint in Los Angeles on January 21 and includes dates in San Diego, Santa Cruz, Mill Valley, Arcata, Bend, Portland and Seattle.
