Hey folks, we’d like to give you all an update on our brother Shawn Swain. As you know, Shawn was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism earlier in the year and had to take some time off of the road. While undergoing some additional testing, doctors discovered an underlying condition that will unfortunately require an extended break from touring through at least the end of the year and potentially beyond. We fully support Shawn in his decision to take a break from the road to focus on his health and look forward to welcoming him back once his doctors give him clearance. In Shawn’s absence, we have found a replacement that we will share with you next week. Shawn’s last performances before the break will be the upcoming shows in Jackson, WY on 8/29 and Bridger Brewing in Three Forks, MT on 8/31.

As the Montana-based bluegrass outfit noted, fans can catch Swain with the band in Jackson, Wyoming, and Three Forks, Montana ahead of his recovery time off. Following a trio of festival plays in September, Kitchen Dwellers will kick off their fall tour on October 22 in Wisconsin.
