Khruangbin, Drive-By Truckers & More Aboard For ‘Pickathon At Home’ Virtual Festival

Pickathon At Home virtual festival will feature past performances from Khruangbin, Drive-By Truckers, Steve Gunn and more. The online event will take place Friday, August 31 through Sunday, August 2 beginning at 4 p.m. PT/1 p.m. ET each day.

Pickathon At Home will also air past sets from Wolf People, Garrett T. Capps, Bee Bee Sea followed by Steve Gunn on Friday. Revel in Dimes and Dan Deacon will stream ahead of Khruangbin on Saturday. The virtual fest wraps up with Dom Flemons, Moon Duo and Drive-By Truckers on Sunday.

Pickathon at home is the culmination of the festival’s Concert A Day archival series which with the help of Spotify raised over $200,000 for the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser. The goal for Pickathon At Home is to raise another $60,000.

“During these challenging times when we are not able to gather in person, A Concert A Day helped fill the void by virtually connecting us through performance and raising money for MusiCares,” festival founder and director Zale Schoenborn said in a statement. “Pickathon At Home will be a fitting grand finale that allows us to spend Pickathon weekend together, virtually enjoy music we all love, and raise money for artists in need!”
