Keller & The Keels Share ‘Medulla Oblongata’ Video

Keller & the Keels unveiled video featuring a performance of the song “Medulla Oblongata.” A studio version of the tune appears on the trio’s Speed LP, which is set for release on November 22.

The three-piece consisting of Keller Williams, Larry Keel and Jenny Keel gathered at an outdoor space to perform “Medulla Oblongata.” Speed features a mix of covers and originals with the former including “Island In The Sun” by Weezer, Kacey Musgraves‘ “Slow Burn” and “Criminal” by Fiona Apple.

Williams described “Medulla Oblongata” as “one of the many songs I’ve come up with from giving myself writing assignments” to Relix. “This one follows me through the blurred lines of hallucinations and apparitions with a bluegrass feel and a reggae break. Because bluegrass is just reggae sped up.”
