Keb’ Mo’, Jennifer Hartswick & Christian McBride Perform For NPR’s ‘Night Owl’ Series

The latest installment of NPR’s Night Owl video series features a collaborative performance between Keb’ Mo’, Jennifer Hartswick and Christian McBride. Keb’, Jennifer and Christian team for a riveting take on the former’s “France” from Mo’s 2004 album Keep It Simple.
McBride plays upright bass on the tune, Hartswick adds trumpet while Keb’ Mo’ both sings and strums guitar on this version of “France” which was recorded at The Station Inn in Nashville. Later today, NPR stations will premiere an episode of the McBride-hosted Jazz Night In America focusing on Nashville’s jazz scene that features Hartswick. Check your local listings to see what time Jazz Night In America airs on your local NPR station.
