John Summit Joins Karol G In Mexico City

Karol G closed a livestreamed celebration of her latest album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, by bringing out John Summit for a remix of “BbY WOW” at Quarry Studios in Mexico City on Wednesday. Earlier in the program, Cigarettes After Sex frontman Greg Gonzalez and La Obsesion Factory also joined her.

Streamed on Karol G’s TikTok account, the program mixed live performances with recorded album tracks. Gonzalez came out for “Después de Ti,” which he co-wrote and co-produced and appears on the album version. The pair first performed the song during Karol G’s headlining set at Coachella in April.

After playing a recording of “Alguien que te amaba,” Karol G performed the No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto tracks “BbY WOW” and piano versions of “Eclipse” and “Final feliz.” Later, La Obsesion Factory joined her for “AltaFarra (Remix).”

Summit’s appearance beside Karol G for the “BbY WOW” remix closed the live set. A recording of “For u My lova” played over the end credits.

Summit is in the middle of his Ctrl Escape Arena Tour, which continues Thursday at Toyota Center in Houston. Karol G resumes her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour on Friday with the first of three nights at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe.
