Hudson Freeman will take his first Mom + Pop album, Doom Country, on the road next spring. The Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter’s This Tour Is Doomed run spans 28 dates across the United States and Canada, beginning March 24 at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California.

Freeman will mark the album’s November 6 release with a show that night at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. Doom Country follows 2025’s is a Folk Artist, which featured his breakout song “If You Know Me.” Freeman cited records by Sufjan Stevens, Bruce Springsteen and Sun Kil Moon as touchstones for an album shaped in part by his evangelical upbringing. A European tour follows in February and early March.

Sean Solomon opens the March and April club dates, including stops at The Independent in San Francisco and The Wise Hall in Vancouver. Freeman will also play Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Idaho on April 3 and 4.

The tour resumes May 1 at Philadelphia’s First Unitarian Church with Hiding Places, who stay on through the May 15 show at Mahall’s in Lakewood, Ohio. James Eichman joins in Pittsburgh and returns for the final two nights at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont and The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
