John Prine Shares ‘Lonesome Friends of Science’ Single

John Prine has unveiled the video for “Lonesome Friends of Science” from his latest album, The Tree Of Forgiveness out now via Oh Boy Records. The video was directed by Tiago Majuelos and features animation by Bliss.

The critically acclaimed The Tree Of Forgiveness, produced by the renowned Dave Cobb, is Prine’s first record of new original material in over 13 years. The singer-songwriter legend was recently inducted into the Song Writer’s Hall Of Fame. Prine spoke about the honor in a statement:

“I am thrilled to hear about my induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. I have been proud to make my living as a songwriter for almost 50 years now. I have to say it’s a bonus to be elected by your fellow songwriters. Thank You to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.”
