Fogerty arrived on scene and headed straight for rehearsals as Mumford & Sons and members of The Vaccines served as his backing band for a set filled with Creedence Clearwater Revival hits including “Down On The Corner” and “Lodi” as well as a few more recent tunes. Marcus Mumford summed up the situation when he told the crowd he was glad that fun. didn’t show “because John Fogerty was fucking awesome.” Last night marked the second Saturday in a row Fogerty performed backed by a big act following his appearance with Widespread Panic at Lockn’.
