Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer John Fogerty dropped by 30 Rock in New York City to visit The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. The legendary Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman teamed up with Fallon and house band The Roots for a fun take on a CCR classic performed on classroom instruments.
Fogerty’s sons Shane Fogerty and Tyler Fogerty were also part of the segment recorded at The Tonight Show. The elder Fogerty led the closely assembled participants through his CCR original “Lookin’ Out My Back Door,” which appeared on CCR’s successful 1970 album Cosmo’s Factory.
Fogerty was in New York City to play a concert at Radio City Music Hall as part of his recently initiated The Celebration Tour. The 77-year-old Fogerty’s tour schedule also includes a special performance with The String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks on July 14.
