Jimmy Page & Jack White Appear On ‘Jools Holland’

Last night’s episode of BBC talk show Later … With Jools Holland featured appearances by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page along with Jack White. Page was on to discuss his band’s new box set, while White was on to perform an acoustic The White Stripes classic in support of his own new compilation.
The pair of guitarists both also starred together in the 2008 documentary film It Might Get Loud but Page didn’t play his instrument on the episode. He instead spoke with Holland about the Led Zeppelin The Complete BBC Sessions box set while White sat behind and watched the interview.
White then took the stage with his acoustic guitar to perform “We’re Going To Be Friends.” An acoustic rendition of the song that originally appeared on The White Stripes 2001 LP White Blood Cells was included on White’s newly issued compilation Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998 – 2016.
