Derek Trucks utilized Duane Allman’s 1957 Goldtop Les Paul on “All That I Need” and “Break In The Road” during the main set, while his wife Susan Tedeschi played the iconic guitar later in the evening during “I Pity The Fool.”
Tedeschi Trucks Band’s visit to Macon saw them joined by guitarist Jimmy Herring of Widespread Panic for covers of Derek & The Dominos’ “Keep On Growing” and The Allman Brothers Band’s “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed.” The latter also featured current Panic drummer Duane Trucks, who’s also Derek’s brother, Susan’s brother-in-law and Jimmy’s son-in-law.
