Jimmy Fallon delivered an impression of James Taylor on The Tonight Show on Tuesday. Fallon chose to parody the JT classic “Carolina In My Mind” with a coronavirus era update dubbed “Carolina (Or Anywhere Else) In My Mind.”
“Carolina In My Mind” originally appeared on Taylor’s 1968 self-titled debut album. Taylor wrote the song when he was in the U.K. recording the album for The Beatles’ Apple label. Fallon has previously done musical impersonations of such rockstars as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and more.
