Jason Isbell Debuts New Song In California

As reported, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit are set to issue a new album entitled The Nashville Sound on June 16 via Southeastern Records/Thirty Tigers. On Wednesday night the Nashville-based singer-songwriter and his band debuted one of the songs on the forthcoming LP during their performance at House of Blues in Anaheim, California.

Isbell mixed his main set with selections from his solo career, such as “Stockholm, “Something More Than Free,” and “24 Frames” with cuts from his time as a member of Driver-By Truckers, including “Codeine,” “Decoration Day” and “Outfit.” One of the 10 songs on The Nashville Sound, Isbell also led The 400 Unit through their debut performance of “Hope The High Road.”
