Wednesday’s episode of I So Lounging with Amanda Shires and Jason Isbell featured a cover of Gillian Welch‘s “I Want to Sing That Rock and Roll.” Also appearing on Episode 27 were regular contributors Seth Plemmons on acoustic guitar, Kelly Garcia Plemmons emceeing and Zeyk (the dog) wandering around.

The daily livestream began with Shires’ “Swimmer,” which was the lead track on her 2011 album, Carrying Lightning. Next came “Hope The High Road” off the 2017 Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit album The Nashville Sound. The final song of the session was Welch’s “I Want To Sing That Rock And Roll,” which appeared on her 2001 record, Time (The Revelator).
