Jams On The Sand Free Concert Series Coming To Asbury Park

A series of free concerts will be held on the Beach Stage of Anchor’s Bend in Asbury Park, New Jersey this summer. Jams On The Sand will bring a number of favorites from the jam scene and beyond to the Jersey Shore every Thursday from July 7 – September 1.

The first Jams On The Sand concert will feature Soule Monde and Dark City Strings on July 7. Then, on July 14, Hollis Brown and Wild Adriatic perform as part of the series. Jams On The Sand continues with Scott Metzger’s WOLF! featuring Billy Hector on July 21, The Pimps Of Joytime on July 28 and The Black Lillies on August 4. Additional Jams On The Sand concerts include Marco Benevento on August 11, The Hip Abduction on August 25 and Sophistafunk and Swift Technique on September 7. The fourth annual Half Way 2 Mardi Gras will be held on August 18 with the lineup expected early next month.

Each free concert will start at 6 p.m. with a performance from local talent.
