Scarlett White Joins Dad Jack White In Brooklyn For White Stripes Songs & More

Jack White kicked off a two-night stand at the intimate Brooklyn Paramount on Saturday. The guitarist welcomed his daughter Scarlett White for a trio of tunes halfway through the concert.

White and his band — drummer/Raconteur Patrick Keeler, bassist Dominic Davis and keyboardist Bobby Emmett — launched the show by jamming their way into “That’s How I’m Feeling,” off the guitarist’s previous record, No Name.

Jack also loaded the setlist with tracks from his new album, Frozen Charlotte, performing roughly half of the 13-track LP including favorites such as “G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs,” “Dollar Bill,” “Derecho Demonico” and “Neighbors Blues.”

Additionally, White touched on The White Stripes classics like “Hotel Yorba,” “The Hardest Button To Button” and “Icky Thump.” Jack’s daughter Scarlett emerged to play bass on two Stripes cuts: “Cannon” and “Black Math.” Sandwiched between those two songs, the younger White also helped out her dad on the Blind Willie Johnson blues standard “John The Revelator.”
