Iggy Pop will issued his 17th solo album, Post Pop Depression on March 18 through Rekords Rekords/Loma Vista/Caroline International. Pop has shared a new single, “Sunday,” from what may be the legendary musician’s final album.
Queens Of The Stone Age multi-instrumentalist frontman Josh Homme produced Post Pop Depression and recorded bass, piano and backing vocals on the LP. Homme’s QOTSA bandmate and The Dead Weather multi-instrumentalist Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders were also enlisted for the recording sessions.
Give a listen to “Sunday” followed by the previously shared single “Gardenia”:
The Post Pop Depression Tour begins March 28 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle featuring Iggy, Homme, Fertita, Helders and guitarist/bassist Matt Sweeney and multi-instrumentalist Troy Van Leeuwen.
