Huichica East Announces Initial 2018 Lineup

This year’s Huichica Music Festival: Hudson, a.k.a. Huichica East, will take place at Chaseholm Farm in Pine Plains, New York August 24 – 26. Organizers Gundlach Bundschu Winery, (((folkYEAH!))) and Chaseholm Farm have announced the initial lineup for the East Coast installment of the bicoastal music festival.

Allah-Las, Bettye Lavette, Circles Around The Sun and Alex Bleeker & The Freaks are among the acts set to play this August’s festival. The lineup also includes Robyn Hitchcock, Ryley Walker, Mail The Horse and more. Vetiver will perform 2008’s Thing Of The Past, while Mercury Rev will improvise a film soundtrack. “Huichica Music Festival: Hudson was born three years ago out of a partnership between Gundlach Bundschu, Chaseholm Farms and (((folkYEAH!))), as we sought build a laidback, ‘micro’ music and camping festival,” said Jeff Bundschu of Sonoma’s Gundlach Bundschu Winery in a statement. “We were inspired by our music festival in Sonoma—which is nearly a decade old—and has brought people together in the name of music, food, wine, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Huichica Hudson about all of those things, but also about creating a space for people to celebrate and savor the important things in life, especially in these turbulent times.”

In addition to the music, the festival will feature wines from Gundlach Bundschu, craft beers and locally-sourced food. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly.
