Hozier Performs On ‘Saturday Sessions’

Each Saturday, CBS This Morning presents a series of musical performances under the Saturday Sessions banner. Yesterday’s installment featured Hozier, who stopped by the show’s Manhattan studio to perform a trio of songs from his just-released sophomore studio album Wasteland, Baby!.

The highly-anticipated 14-track effort from the soulful Irish singer-songwriter was inspired by current events and the relentless 24-news cycle. Backed by a band that included a trio of backup singers, Hozier offered up takes on “Nina Cried Power,” “Almost” and “Movement.” Watch Hozier perform on the weekend news magazine show below:
