Hootie & The Blowfish Announce Massive 2024 Summer Tour With Collective Soul & Edwin McCain

Hootie & The Blowfish will return to the road next summer for their first full tour in five years. The quartet’s Summer Camp With Trucks Tour with special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain features over 40 tour dates across the U.S. and in Toronto between May 30 and September 28, 2024.

The lengthy excursion includes a stop at Boston’s Fenway Park on June 21 with Barenaked Ladies performing in addition to the tour’s other three participating acts. Hootie & The Blowfish — Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld — took the name of the tour from something McCain said about touring with the band in support of the breakthrough 1994 debut studio album Cracked Rear View.

“Basically overnight, our lives changed when Cracked Rear View did what it did – and yet as we quickly moved from vans and college bars to tour busses and arenas, not much else changed with how we approached making music and sharing it with our fans,” explained Mark Bryan. “Edwin McCain told someone at the time that touring with us felt like summer camp with trucks… and that’s exactly how we want next year to feel, too. We can’t wait for you to join us!”

Hootie & The Blowfish’s Summer Camp With Trucks Tour launches with a concert at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on May 30. The band, Collective Soul and McCain will then make stops at amphitheaters, arenas and select stadiums throughout the summer before closing the run in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 28. St. Louis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Denver, Phoenix, Anaheim, Seattle, Nashville, Hartford, Chicago, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Charlotte and Tampa are among the metro areas the tour will visit.
