Watch Hiss Golden Messenger Showcase New Album ‘I’m People’ On ‘CBS Saturday Morning’

Hiss Golden Messenger performed a three-song “Saturday Sessions” set on the latest episode of CBS Saturday Morning. The North Carolina-based project of MC Taylor played highlights from the recently released HGM album I'm People.

I’m People co-producer Josh Kaufman played various instruments with Hiss Golden Messenger on CBS Saturday Morning as he did on the album. Kaufman’s partner, Annie Nero, contributed harmony vocals. Taylor’s band on his return to the program also featured HGM mainstays Chris Boerner on guitar, JT Bates on drums, Cameron Ralston on bass and Rhett Huffman on keys, along with Matt Douglas (Mountain Goats) on sax and percussionist Elizabeth Pupo-Walker.

Hiss Golden Messenger led off with I’m People’s lead single “In The Middle Of It.” Taylor then led the ensemble through album standouts “Who You Gonna Run To?” and “Last Orders.” Watch all three songs below:
