Hinterland Music Festival Reveals 2016 Lineup

The second annual Hinterland Music Festival will take place at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in St. Charles, Iowa August 5 – 6. This evening, festival organizers have shared a surprise lineup announcement detailing 13 of the acts set to play the second installment of Hinterland come August.

Musical legend Willie Nelson has been tapped to headline this year’s Hinterland. The outlaw country artist will be joined a top the lineup by singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne. Cold War Kids, Grace Potter, Lake Street Dive, Shovels & Rope, Houndmouth, Turnpike Troubadours, Hayes Carll, Pokey Lafarge, William Elliott Whitmore, San Fermin and Field Division round out the diverse list of Hinterland ’16 artists.

Advance two-day general admission, VIP and Saints Passes will go on sale Friday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m. via the festival’s website.
