Carrie Underwood Joins Guns N’ Roses In London

Guns N’ Roses brought out Carrie Underwood at both of their shows last weekend in London. Frontman Axl Rose complained of vocal issues during the second concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which led the band to cancel their concert tonight (July 5) in Glasgow, Scotland.

Underwood, who was joined by Rose at this year’s Stagecoach festival, came out first on Friday (July 1) to help sing “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and returned during the encore to accompany Rose and the band on their classic “Paradise City.” Saturday’s concert saw Underwood emerge again for the encore, which consisted of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.”

Guns N’ Roses European tour was supposed to continue tonight at Glasgow Green but was canceled due to “illness and medical advice.” While the cancellation message did not provide further details, during Saturday’s concert, Rose told the audience he was having problems singing, at one point saying, “Welcome to the wonderful world of the baritone.” The canceled Glasgow Green date is expected to be rescheduled.
