Watch Axl Rose Join Carrie Underwood At Stagecoach

Carrie Underwood brought out Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose during her set on Saturday at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California. Rose accompanied Underwood on a pair of GNR classics.

Rose’s unexpected appearance came near the end of Underwood’s set. The pair first teamed up on Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Rose and Underwood then took on the GNR favorite “Paradise City.” Underwood had shown her affection for GNR before, having previously covered both songs live in concert.

Underwood’s performance also saw the live debuts of two songs from her forthcoming album, Denim & Rhinestones, “Crazy Angels” and the title track. She also premiered “If I Didn’t Love You,” a single released last year with Jason Aldean.

Underwood also dedicated a choir-backed rendition of “See You Again” to Naomi Judd. Underwood performed shortly after news broke that the renowned country singer, and member of The Judds with her daughter Wynonna, had died at age 76.
