Gregg Allman’s team has issued a statement about the crash indicating the band will proceed with the tour including tonight’s show, “The bus was Gregg Allman’s crew tour bus. Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and released shortly thereafter. Tonight’s show is going on as scheduled.”

There’s scary news out of Jackson County, West Virginia this morning, where a tour bus carrying members of Gregg Allman‘s crew crashed off I-77. WOWK reports three members of Allman’s production team have been transported to Charleston’s CAMC General Hospital and are in stable condition.

Last night the Gregg Allman Band played Carnegie Of Homestead Music Hall in Munhall, Pennsylvania and will play tonight at the Clay Center For The Arts in Charleston, West Virginia. WOWK lists the injured crew members as Earl McCoy, Timothy Wright and Michael Gallun. The station’s report says, “The tour bus was going south, towards Charleston, crossed I-77 into the northbound lanes and exited the road. It landed within feet of a creek near the 119 mile marker on I-77 near the Goldtown exit.”

Our thoughts are with those injured and the whole Gregg Allman team. Watch a news report on the incident:
